It seem according to TASS that the Russia military have woken up to the usefulness of mans best friend, Deputy chief of the Russian Defence Ministry’s military police department Vladimir Kovalev has said after a look at other countries use of dogs
"We have in mind the canine centre in the town of Dmitrov near Moscow for this purpose since the foreign armies’ experiences prove that dogs are widely used in military police," Kovalev said. "We have been to Kazakhstan, Slovakia and other countries where police dogs are used really efficiently. If one have a look at how any wrongdoer reacts to dogs, it becomes clear dogs are a good helping hand."
