Police Helicopter Moves Bases



Day 28 - West Midlands Police Helicopter - Air Ops - Alpha Oscar One


         The Staffordshire's police helicopter will be moving out of the county. The helicopter used to jointly serve Staffordshire Police, West Midlands Police and West Mercia Police will be based in Birmingham instead of at Halfpenny Green Airport. As a result, the nearest aircraft available will attend requests for assistance
A spokesperson for Staffordshire police said"The closure of the bases should have no effect on the service we deliver."

Italy is Not The Only Country with Migrant Trouble.


World Maritime News report that over 2000 migrants  from c have been saved from boats or  trying to swim ashore to Malaysia and Indonesia in the last few days . A wooden boat carrying 600 people arrived of the Indonesia cost yesterday.

Power Generating Ship for Ghana Delayed



The first of two power ships to air Ghana with its electric generating problems is due to arrive in Ghana in August. The two ships are expected to supply the country with 450 MW  have been ordered from Karpowership,. The ship were due in April but red tape delay have taken place, but a loan 125MW vessel is being sent as a sign of good faith by the company.

HMS Bulwark Sent to the Md

HMS Bulwark and to Merlin helicopters have been ordered by the British Prime Minister to the Mediterranean to help in the humanitarian crisis their. HMS Bulwark the 19,000 tonne amphibious warship will support surveillance  in the area, she will leave as son as her  ceremonial duties in Turkey come to an end.
